The brain speaks
The Brain Speaks explores the potential for communicating with a person’s brain – namely its subdivisions, structural components and individual neurons. It’s a candid and in-depth exploration into the possibilities that may be achieved by tapping into the collective consciousness of an organ or tissue using imagery and dialogue. While the class includes lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice, an integral component is the sharing of experiences among participants as they practice and assimilate their encounters while communicating with another person’s brain.

What are therapists saying about this workshop?
As therapists, we spend a lot of time encouraging people to stay in their bodies and out of their heads, and that is right and proper – but we forget that the physical brain and central nervous system is considerably more than just the conscious mind. It is an absolutely essential part of our bodies, just as subject to stresses and strain patterns arising in other parts of the body as any other type of tissue, just as subject to holding emotional charge, and strongly capable of adversely affecting other areas of the body, organs and soft tissue as well as the peripheral nervous system, when it is in trouble. I took this course some years ago now and have used the approaches it introduces us to in more treatments than I can remember – I cannot imagine now not treating the brain as an integral part of my therapy. Apart from anything else, the dialoguing on this course is intriguing, often fun, and enormously insightful into the root causes of our behaviour patterns. Take the course and enjoy!
